    I agree that animals learn to associate new things with danger but the smell of smoke is as old and natural as the earth itself. Yes, if you got all smoked up and went busting through the woods spooking deer on a regular basis, they would learn to associate that smell with a human. In my case...

    I've been doing this for a couple years now and I agree 100% on how well it works. It's cheap and it works better than anything else I've tried. @Redbeard I got my bee smoker from Amazon for around $13. I get bags of hickory chips from Walmart for $2.50 a bag and usually use 2-3 bags a season...

    I bought a roll of 1" climbing rated webbing for about $15 from Amazon. Never built an aider before but after a few YouTube videos, I put a 1 step aider on each stick. I have made a dozen or so climbs on them so far and am very happy with them.

    I just received mine a week ago, it came that way. I hunted 4 sits this weekend, in 3 different trees and never adjusted it either way.

    I wrapped cloth camo tape around the outside ring and then wrapped some Paracord around that. It quitened down it if I bang it on something and gave a little grip to the outside edge. Great platform!

    Same thing with the doe I shot. She didn't act like she was hit but fell over within 50 yds.
