    Helmets

Read the hunting accident reports on the DNR site - things happen. I don’t wear a helmet when on a bicycle - but my head could still get a dent in if I hit the curb. If people want to wear a helmet - so be it. I’d say the would win at the game of Darwinism. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Helmets

If it makes people feel safe - to each their own. First 5 years I hunted I didn’t wear a harness. Started having kids and I got all safety conscious. I could see if someone fell if if just a foot or two - they could hit head against tree, sticks, platform. Whatever helps anyone enjoy their...

    Helmets

I don’t - but arborists do - so I could see a safety conscious hunter wearing one. I thought about it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Anyone spray paint their sticks?

Kind of the same - I tend to do stuff in garage to do stuff. I bought a camo tree bark stencil and painted using brown, grey and green. However, I am liking the tape idea now to quiet them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Who else using Novix equipment?

I just bought Novix double steps. Very well made and made in U.S. I am not sure but I think the company has history common with Lone Wolf. I got the full size as I am 6’2 280. They are rock solid. I have the original Lone Wolf from 10 or so years ago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Anyone spray paint their sticks?

Wanting to camo my sticks to blend in better…I am weird about blending in - no bright colors or anything that sticks out. Anyone use camo spray paint and have any reactions from deer? I figure if I let them dry for a week should be good regarding smell. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Packing the house to go hunting

I know right - every year I say I am going to cut back. One of these days I’ll go to woods in shirt, jeans and my bow - that’s it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
