    1.Tether or Linesman/or both?

Thanks guys. I think you both hit the nail on the head. I had been running a short bridge at the beginning of season but decided to lengthen it last night. Not only was it more comfortable, but it also kept my autoblock away from my figure 8. Additionally, I think the legs of my schwabisch...

    1.Tether or Linesman/or both?

This is my first year, full-time saddle hunting. I've made some adjustments and changed a few things along the way. I have the method 2, use 2/3 sticks, with a 3 step aider on bottom and a 2 step aider on 2nd stick. I also recently started utilizing my rappel rope as a bow pull up rope, which...

    Seeker Platform

I have the seeker and love it but had the same issue with original strap. I went with the PSH (platform stick hanger from VGO). Lighter , quieter and it’s rock solid.

    Aider Advice Needed!

I use two sticks with a 3 step fixed aider on first and a 2 step aider on second stick. I put my platform about 1-1.5' above my last step and that puts me around 16'. I would not want to climb down in the dark with the aiders. I rappel so I don't have to worry about it.

    Cruzr platform pack

I’m new to the game as well and also have the seeker. I started practicing by strapping it onto my pack but recently started carrying it on my chest by running chest strap through platform and belly strap around it. I like this better bc it is easier to retrieve once you are at hunting height .

    Best 3 step moveable aider

Hit Scott up on FB, he’s made two attached aiders for me . I know he can make a CAYG as well. Good dude and fast shipping . https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/194269079094081/?mibextid=6ojiHh

    Best platform

Love the Cruzr seeker (regular size). Might not be the most compact but solid and plenty of room for boots.

    Cranford Rope Steps

Since they are not my primary climbing system, I have not modded mine but this is what I was referring too.

    Cranford Rope Steps

Did you modify the attachment method for the Cranford steps? I plan on carrying one in my pack just in case I need to get a little higher but I can never seem to get it real tight.

    Newbie Question

You are basically running the same setup as me (Cruzr Seeker, Latitude Method 2) except I have modified helium sticks. I have experimented with several different ways of carrying my platform and what seems to work best during ascent is to run my chest strap from backpack through platform and...

Also use the reactor. 2 sticks in bedroll straps and have been experimenting with running chest straps through platform and carrying on chest .

    Thanks everyone. challenge met

Out of curiosity, are you running the badlands reactor? I’ve used that pack for years tree stand hunting and plan on using it this coming year in the saddle.
