Season ended, list your failed gears/methods/etc that you would not use again! And what do you plan to do differently next year

I've been contemplating dropping to 60, but that's a big change in arrow setup, etc

    Critique my form!

Anything past 40 your bow tune, arrow setup, etc can have just as big of an impact as your form.

    PassThrough/Kangaroo Pockets in a Saddle

I have no issues with sitka fanatic when leaning. If I'm sitting, then it's a little harder, but I go below bridge loops in that situation.

    Adjustable bridge options

I put this on this year and really like it so far. https://doublesteps.com/product/amsteel-whoopi-openable-bridge/

    Bareshaft/ arrow tuning

7-10 feet for paper. Your arrow can still be parading farther than that. I typically shoot bare shafts at 20 yards after that, but into a target and read that instead of paper. I want same point of impact and same shaft angle as long as target isn't too worn as that can change shaft angle...

    The best Mid weight pants.

I just got their verdigre series in, but by the time I received them our weather got too cold for them. I'm anxious to try them out though.

    New Gear for 2023, Go!

That’s exactly what stand I was going to go with.

    New Gear for 2023, Go!

2023 might be the year of going back to a stand since these new ones are so light. I’ve been in a saddle for 5-6 years now. I love walking in and being up in a tree with it. I don’t like how much movement it takes to get a shot in comparison to standing on a stand. I don’t like facing the tree...

Fish and Game club archery range revitalization: what would you want to have at your archery ranges.

Our club has fixed shooting line and targets with roof over the top of each at 20-30-40-50-60. We also put up old indoor butts at 70-80 as well as old 3D's at 60-70-80. We also use the old field course and place 3D targets in front of each backstop (total of 14) for people to walk around and...

    Hunting Hoody

No, I swear I look at their website every single day. I sent them an email asking about wind blocker in the verdigre. I did receive a really quick reply, which was good and rare. I was told that they didn't want wind blocker in the lighter weight stuff and that by nature of the fabric being...

Who carries a pistol whilst in the woods for protection, specifically related to hunting and scouting

I will be this year for the first time since it's now legal here.

I just DM'd him on here. Love mine.

My Son if left eye dominant. Right handed. What to shoot?

I was left eye dominant and RH and worked hard through patches and blockers, etc to get my right eye to dominate. For the most part it has worked (took awhile), but in low light conditions or if the light is right in my face, etc, my left eye takes back over and that is a big problem since you...

What targets are you all using?

They are $50 now...I seem to blow up my matrix quickly. I actually am fairly disappointed in mine. I have all 9 shot up and can't shoot it anymore without spending a decent amount of money once again on it. I had 3 brand new modules this spring and they've been blown up since early summer...
