    Coyote advice wanted

Thanks for the replies. Talked with the land owner this morning after my hunt (who lives on the property vs absentee) and his concern with guns is his suburban neighbors complaining if they hear shots. I have a few buddies with cans I’m going to see if they’ll come hunt with me sometime.

    Coyote advice wanted

I have permission to bow hunt a wooded 25 acre property near my house that’s part of 100+\- acres of woods surrounded by subdivisions. This year I’ve barely seen any deer and no turkey which is odd compared to previous years. This morning I had 3 does run through about 100 yards off being chased...

Tethrd One Sticks ..... take my money already

I was wondering if anyone else noticed that, I’ve been refreshing that page periodically.

    Hawk helium hsp and apex

I’ve been waiting for it to come in stock at midway cause I have some nickel and dime items I want and that’d get me into free shipping. Didn’t realize it was already available on hawks website.

Any A frame pop-up owners here?

Was wondering if anyone else here used an A frame style pop up for their mobile hunting cabin. I bought my Aliner Ranger12 three years ago and it’s probably been the best money I’ve ever spent on hunting gear. At the time I was about to DIY a cargo trailer for the same use but the wife insisted...

First hunt of the season amnesia.

I forgot my release one time on an afternoon sit. Instead of running back to the truck to grab it I decided that I would just release with my fingers if need be (something I haven’t done with a compound in 20 years). Of course I ended up having a doe come in at 20 yards perfect broadside. When I...

Arrows: consumables or no (broken arrow pic)

If any of my arrows hit anything other than a target it gets retired. Probably overkill but I’ve seen pics of shafts that have exploded upon release injuring the shooter and don’t ever want that to happen to me.

Happens my first time out every year.

Tethrd One Sticks ..... take my money already

I’ve resolved just to grab a set in the off season. Chances are when the first batch comes in they’ll sell out the same day.

    Selling stands

I only hunt pubic so I’d haul my gear out every night. We can leave stands up on Missouri conservation areas but I’ve heard enough stories of stolen gear not to risk it.

    Selling stands

I used a climber until this year, wanted a set up for irregular trees. Bought a hang on stand at the beginning of the summer, it only took one time trying to hang that thing while standing on a stick up in the air to know it wasn’t for me.

I can see that being an issue. If I grab one I’ll keep my Ridge Runner for situations that warrant it.

    Selling stands

Just started saddle hunting and I’m hooked. After a successful first hunt in my Cruzr I made the decision to unload my climber and multiple ladder stands since it’s the time of year they command top dollar. Hunting buddies all think I’m nuts but to me it’s kinda like Cortez burning his ships so...

    Solo Scout opinions

Hadn’t thought about that, I routinely adjust my tether length when I start to feel uncomfortable. I’ll probably pick one up to play with next time they have a sale to see if the juice is worth the squeeze.
