    Carrying a knife

    Knifes live in all my packs and one in each vehicle. When sea duck hunting, one around my neck within reach. Can only hold my breath so long. If nervous about cutting yourself out a small neck carry works. Keep it under clothes you are wearing. Don't cut the branch you're standing on!

    I'd like to add a second bridge to my saddle for my own peace of mind. I intend on leaving the original bridge, two years old. But want to add another. What rope should I buy and how to connect to saddle loops? I'm not going to sew anything. Thank you

    Turkey calls and whitetails deer

    Fourth years ago I bought a friction squrel call. Weighs nothing still works great. If deer gets spooky just twist a bit. Doesn't always work. But I've had success.
