    Methods for hoisting gun up/down the tree while saddle hunting?

    I will tie a slip knot around the rifle stock below the trigger guard and again around the barrel just above the forearm. This let's me pull the rifle up vertically. I haven't tried this from my saddle yet but it worked well in the tree stands. Basically the same as Nutterbuster.
