    Why don't yall 2TC?

Interesting. I picked up a couple of military belts with intentions of sewing them to make a foot loop.

    Why don't yall 2TC?

What is that buckle in the webbing? Is this a belt?

Oklahoma bill looks to DOUBLE non-resident cost

As a Louisianian with limited time, I went to apply for Elk and Black Bear lottery in Oklahoma. They require you to purchase all the necessary licensing and tag fees BEFORE the lottery draw. I didn't bother to add it all up but it would be well over $600 for a very small chance at winning. Can't...

    Tree Styx

Love the idea of carbon sticks. Used to be a cyclist and I know how strong it is, but at 200lb+ I still stuck with steel bikes. I would probably trust these depending on what they recommend for weight rating. But that joint from stick to step seems to be a little suspicious. I wonder if there is...

    Friction Hitches

For the most part, I saw a video on here and a few people successfully tied it with sewn loop so that's why it's there. but for the purposes of this it may be best to stick to the most conventional/easiest methods.

    Friction Hitches

This thread has been extremely informative and thought-provoking. As a semi-newb fascinated by the different hitches but somewhat overwhelmed, I have been thinking about a decision tree flow chart, based on what you have available, and what features you are looking for. It may prove useless or...

    Friction Hitches

Thanks! I glanced over it because of the ring but I don't think it will be hard to convince the wife I need to buy one of those! :tearsofjoy:

    Friction Hitches

I reckon I already know the answer but I'm posting just in case. I have reviewed this entire thread and many others, but can't find a friction hitch that can be tied with a sewn prusik loop which... 1) breaks under load 2) always grabs 3) tends well(by itself or with a tender) I will buy...

    Why don't yall 2TC?

I don't 2TC because I'm 250lb and outta shape. Who out there is in my boat? I know @Red Beard is like 100lb. What are the tips for big boys? My main thing is the foot pressure. Definitely going to try something wider, the 1in tubular wedding is incredibly painful. The other part is being out of...

2 Panel Saddle with One Sticking

I like it, though it's the only saddle I've ever tried. I don't wear it in I just put on at tree, and I don't hang any pouches on it. I don't think it was necessarily designed for this, but those are the main gripes I hear about it. For me, it's minimal, packs small, and is very comfortable.
