    Badlands Superday Users

I've been using one for 2 years now and really like it. For me it has just the right amount and arrangement of pouches and compartments for my needs. I keep the main large pouch open for extra clothing. I will also lash a jacket or vest onto the back with ladders or sticks. I use both cut...

Climbing and shooting from saddle practice

Check with your local electric company on depth they place those poles. Bear in mind for your purposes the pole wouldn't need to be as long as most typical electrical installations and they will have a guy wire holding reverse tension on the pole. Probably an auger dug 4 foot hole for 25 foot...

Any idea what this stand is?

May be an old Warren and Sweat stand?

    ROS that hold

What GeoFish has shown is exactly what I have except I have the mini platform as top step. I also alternately use Rapid Rails and rest heels on those and balls of foot on the closest two steps on either side of the rails.

    ROS that hold

The minor tilting isn't unusual and if you think about it the step is essentially adjusting to meet a point of equilibrium with your foot pressure. If it bothers you too much run the steps in pairs touching each other increasing their surface area on your foot and the tree which should reduce...

    ROS Carry Methods and Ideas

I use 5 Treehopper steps. I slide them together, wrap the strap around them several times and then cam the buckle over to keep them tight. They get strapped on the side of my pack for the walk in. When climbing I have a small loop of paracord attached to the buckle and they get hung on the back...

    Peepless pin sight

I always lined up the string along the right most side of my eye.... its just a blur to the very right of your eye. You don't cover up the pin or anything just be sure to reference it the same each time. That's where a kisser or nose button could help with consistency. But don't look for the...

Where do you keep your phone?

The phone collecting moisture is usually on the body side for me. Turn the phone where the screen faces away from your body and it seems to help minimize that for me.

    Alice Pack

Until I started saddle hunting I was attaching lone wolf stands and rapid rails to Alice pack and carrying it because of the better weight distribution. They're good little pack frames and paired with the rucksack you can haul out some boned out deer meat.

    Climbing sticks..... preferred aider method?

2 step permanent strap aider attached to bottom step of cut down Lone Wolf sticks with 18 - 20 inch spacing. Can't really understand why anyone wants more than 2 steps because the limiting factor for aider use or stick is how high you can reach.
