Did you get it shooting straight

So, changed out the scope. Really like the scope, big improvement over stock scope. With that being said, I sighted in the new scope and the groups were consistent horizontally. But vertical, not so much. I cannot get consistent groups vertically. I believe it has to do with the variance in where the bow bolts together. I have been told that when cocked the bow will line up the same every time. I'm not so sure that is the case and think that the up and down, vertical, movement is effecting the accuracy of the bow. But what do I know.
I also believe that the Deer Crossing Arrows with straight fletching is causing broad heads to fly left or right of field tips. That problem has been corrected with my set up when shooting left or right helical fletched arrows. I find no reason to shoot straight fletched arrows with this bow.
I have been told to lock the bow down with a 5/16 (18 thread) bolt. I will try that to get the groups consistent. Other owners on the forum have used a bolt to lock it together with good results. At this point in the journey, I will continue to try and get this bow shooting consistently.
At this point and time, I cannot take this bow to the woods.
