    Pack Build Help

I've been looking at the options at seattle fabrics. Leaning toward the spandura but interested in their heavywt polyester spandex. Probably will order samples of 3-4 different options. Their way I'll also add a 3/4" elastic band at the top. What have you used in the past for elastic pockets?

    Pack Build Help

No worries, no offense taken at all. I’m very familiar with tension issues and how to adjust to eliminate them. I have not tired sewing through two layers of 500d Cordura with 1in mil spec webbing intermittently. Wasn’t sure if the tension would need to bumped up when encountering the webbing...

    Pack Build Help

New to the sewing...I mean thread injecting...game. I've been practicing on small items, stuff sacks, webbing slings etc, but I'm feeling ready to jump up to a hard project like a pack build. Planning on doing a Kifaru Stryker clone to fit a MR Guidelite frame. That being said, I've been...

    Treestand seat platform update

I'm not an engineer but that does not look correct. The tubing isn't designed to be pulled outwards and twisted. Versa buttons work by having pressure pull the strap INTO the the square tubing. I believe your design is applying shearing forces on tubing that it's not designed for. Maybe...

    Digital Audio Recorder - Suggestions?

Oh man, the camera equipment rabbit hole. I'll give advice I received: 1. What is the goal of videoing your hunts and posting them on youtube? -Is it for fun? Making money? Making a living? -These all require different levels of investment. 2. Make sure you are maximizing your current...

    Youtube Channel - Tough Love

So your grandfather had to be airlifted after falling out of a ladder stand, but you want to climb sticks without a lineman's?!? You do know that free climbing has an extremely high rate of death, so "their entire lives" really isn't that long..... Good luck and I pray you stay safe.

Great move on slowly upgrading some gear. You're going to love how the fluid heads help your video stability. Not sure what camera you're using, from one video it looked like a Nikon D3500 or a Canon EOS rebel t6 or t7? My experience is with a Canon 7D and Canon Mark 5D iii. These might...

    Hawk Helium vs. Muddy Pros

So I might be a bit dense but are you using 3 or 4 hawk heliums vs 4 muddy pros? I'm just getting a little confused on how you can get to the same height with a shorter stick without aider.

Got a chance to watch a few more videos. I know self-filming can be difficult, but if you want to make the step to the next level there are a few things to consider. The camera is the viewer. Think of it as another person. -Keep it as close to your view level as possible. -People don't lie on...

Boosting audio in post production is not the easiest to do well. There's a saying, "get it right in camera." That means, the better you can be at capturing photo/video and audio at production, the easier and faster post production will be.

A little of my background: Started shooting photography after my wife began doing weddings about 8 years ago. If I was off work, I became a "second shooter" for her once her business picked up. That evolved into me becoming a videographer. I'm not the best but definitely learned alot. My...

Saddle used as Harness for treestands?

I'm definitely going the saddle route for more mobility next season. Can I use my saddle as a harness if I want to sit in a lock-on in a permanent spot? Obviously I'd have the tether attached lower than a full harness but is there any other issues I need to consider?
