    Linesman rope/tree tether length

    I am looking for a good maximum length of linesman rope and tree tether to have. I feel like mine is too long. My tree tether is gotta be 11 feet from double figure to stopper knot. My linesman is even longer its about 12 or 13 feet from carabiner loop to stop knot. Does anyone have some advice...
