    Wild Edge for me. I'm not gonna use sticks unless it's a pre set. 6 steps with a knaider/swaider can get me higher than I need to be. Usually only use 5 and bring one extra just in case I need to go higher.

    Depending on the stage of the velvet the best is to either have it freeze dried or have it injected with a preservative. I've got one velvet 8 pt on my wall and was very careful getting him out of the woods as to not create any damage. After getting it caped out it went straight into the freezer...

    Boot Gaiters?

    I've got a pair of Outdoor Vision gaiters. Love them but they definitely add a little heat to my legs. I mainly wear them in colder weather but they make a shorter version that comes a little above the ankle that would probably work good for higher temps.

    Milkweed plant help

    I'm no expert on milkweed but I'm pretty sure it takes a couple of years before the bloom and pod up. I agree with PEEJAY the plants I get mine from are growing in a fence row in full sun and are much larger plants than those in the pics.

    There are stands hanging all over the public near me. Some have been there un-hunted for a several years. They aren't mine so I do bother them but have no problem hunting directly next to them. Some of the guys that hung them were good scouters because they had found a great spot to hunt others...
