    I have been itching to try something different..has anyone used an ATC Guide or similar in a DRT system? I know ..just use a friction hitch or hitch climber etc etc.. Just reinventing the wheel here anyone else tried?

    I’m on my second season with mine .. I love it for carrying drt rope and ros but have not figured out layers and snacks for all day hunts.. I’m 5’9 197 lbs and it carrys very comfortable

    Does your pack in front of you ever get in the way moving for a shot around the tree .. past two years I have put mine at 3:00 shoulder height with the things I might need on the outside pockets facing me .. having it in front definitely seems much more efficient

    I run 6 steps on ros. I can go 360 around a tree and I can sit from sun up to sun down with out an foot issues what so ever .. ros saved two hunts for me last year when a buck came in on my non dominant side was able to arrow him at 20 yards and walked around the tree on a doe who came in...

    Used one with my very first saddle by hawk .. it came with the kit .. line man fine , tether better off with friction hitch
