I run a EWO stick with UP PLATFORM and ros with usually a step at 3&9 o’clock. On a real big tree I might add 1-2 more steps. Makes it easier to maneuver around the tree and when I get uncomfortable I’ll put my feet on the steps at 9&3 I imagine it feels like a Harley with highway pegs.
This is exactly what I was thinking.
I run a predator. Wonder if the extra time to strap on the steps would be worth it?
I’m going to run the pursuit with the bullman platform steps this year in a similar fashion.I have a ROS attached to all of my platforms and one-sticks...

Do you guys run the steps the exact same height as the platform, or should I raise the steps a few inches higher?

I run a ridge runner with two steps also, but I'm using the original cam strap it came with. I see you're using an OCB with your and it looks like you're just strapping it right across the front of the RR. Does this slide any that way? Or is there something going on in the pic I'm not seeing? I guess if it did slide down the regular attachment nubs would stop it.I have a ROS attached to all of my platforms and one-sticks...

I'm def interested in seeing how you're setting that up when hanging too. I have an ocb, so now I'm going to be experimenting. I was thinking of going with a versa strap type set up and using a truckers hitch, but I might give this a shot to see how it does.
Platform and a ROS?
I’ve never used ROS. Wonder if anyone does it and general thoughts.
Hey @Dmathews87 , zoom in on my picture above and check out how I have 4 Ameristeps nestled in my Scout.
It works out pretty good. I climb with them in there and when I set my stick at hunting height they are ready to put around the tree...
