    Red moon

The moon guide has been very accurate for me. It always amazes me how accurate it is sometimes. I have also had days where it is not as accurate but it is usually always close. I have killed two bucks that have been with in 45 min of the red moon times. a mature wild animal is almost always hard...

    Self filming from saddle

Yep no problem! I like mine high enough where I can put my knees on the tree right below it when I want to sit and low enough that the arm doesn't interfere with my bridge. It takes some getting used to but you will figure out where you like it after a few hunts

    Self filming from saddle

Self filming from the saddle can be tricky sometimes because you can shoot all the way around the tree. I have the forth arrow arm and base too and it has been good. I use a Sony handy-cam as well. It is an older model but still produces great video and it's compact. I tend to put the base right...

Do you have a spare bow?

I have a back up bow. While I've never had to use it, I always take it on out-of-state hunts because I've heard several stories of people having a back up bow and it saving their hunt when they are out of state. I don't worry about carrying mine with me while I'm hunting my home state. But it...

Painting predator platform with the Sponge method

I decided to paint my predator platform, my camera base and arm, and my carabiners. I wanted to play around with the sponge method and I was very impressed with how it turned out. Decided to post them up on here for discussion and to see what everyone thinks of it. I used a gray primer as a...

    Saddle gear disposition while hanging

i'm working on designing some sort of small platform that I could either screw into the tree or put on a stepp to put your phone or snacks or whatever on. I was really thinking about it for when I sit all day and eat lunch I would have something to set my sandwich or drink on.

    Saddle gear disposition while hanging

I haven't hunted out of my saddle yet. it comes in tomorrow. But I'm right handed so I would imagine it would need to be on the right side of the tree so you can operate it with your free hand? In a tree stand I always keep my camera arm to my right side and it has worked out fine. With a saddle...

    Brand new to saddle hunting

I would definitely check out the predator platform or the wild edge stepp ladder. Yes you will have to pay good money for both, but they are 100% worth it.
