    Trophyline EDP Platform

I have had these platforms ( Predator, Predator XL, Ridgerunner,Ridgerunner XL, LWCG Ambush) I’m really liking my EDP. As far as a pack , I went with the TL Platow pack . The Platow is flat out functional and simple, less bulk and unnecessary space.

LWCG Double Step Sticks ..Best attachment ?

Had a 17” with 3/4 strap kick out on me last week. Upside down 16’ in the air can change your perspective. I was coming down from an evening hunt. I stepped down from top stick to the third and I felt it give a bit but not concerned. I remove the top stick and send it to the ground. Put my right...

    Feet are killing me!!!!

With added rope, Ropeman , biner and bridge your forced to lean some what even when sucked up tight. This is where I’m getting pressure to my feet

    Feet are killing me!!!!

It’s the arches of my feet that hurt , so much so it’s painful to walk the next day. When hunt ya lockon I stand 90% of the time with my back against the tree. Every couple hours I’ll sit for 15min to give my legs a break, but my feet never hurt. I try to do the same in a saddle but facing...

    Feet are killing me!!!!

As some have mentioned it’s a weight distribution issue not a saddle issue. I’ve had saddles and won’t call any of them bad , just feature preference. I was dead set against being a sitter as I can do that in a stand. But , I’m gonna try it this evening.

    Feet are killing me!!!!

Well I’m on my way to my lease for a little scout and hunt . I’ll try some of the advise I’ve received , not giving up yet . I’ll do what saddle guys do and keep throwing money at products until something works .

    Feet are killing me!!!!

99.9% of everything I hunt is swamp so rubber boots is a must. I wear uninstalled grange and insulated burly pros. I recently bought some Danner vitals with good support that I strap to my pay and put on at the tree . As far as leaning angle I’m dang bear standing. With tether height at my...

    Feet are killing me!!!!

I’m actually in conversation with a 3D archery buddy of mine that’s a long time Guidos and now JX3 user. This may be an option

    Feet are killing me!!!!

I’m right there with you. I took off 5 days after Christmas to hunt the rut , on day 3 I was toting my millennium M7. As bad as I want the saddle to be the one stop shop I think it’s just a tool in the bucket. Early bow season and short mobile sits. Headed to some delta public that’s flooding...

    Feet are killing me!!!!

I have some Shikar sticks on the way with a scout platform. I’m hoping the downward angle of the mini platform may help some. Being that I lean , my feet can’t be flat on a Regular platform . I’m more heels off the platform and toes on.

    Feet are killing me!!!!

I’ve run my tether from as high as I can reach and as low as my stomach. For comfort I find a short bridge (20”) and tethered at chest height to be best.

    Feet are killing me!!!!

TL ambush lite with a OOAL Ridgerunner. Have put orthotic insoles in my lacrosse rubber boots and bought some Danner vital boots to pack in and change into. I have TX5 xpand saddle ordered from Mathew Tompkins. I had a mantis and predator before along with a TL ambush pro and Ridgerunner

    Feet are killing me!!!!

So I jumped on the bandwagon lay January and bought a saddle and platform. I practiced all spring and summer and became very efficient. Early bow season consists of 90+ degrees hunts , so a couple hour sits . Along comes winter and cooler temperatures which mean all day sits as I’m accustomed...

    OOAL Sticks

On one of his FB posts he said 1.5# and 22” . A picture of them stacked showed both standoffs and steps turn inline to stack. And they aren’t 1” tubing either. Look forward to seeing them at the ATA

Beast Sticks with Knaider & Swaider

G2 outdoors posted a video of using the naider/swaider with sticks. He uses two endless loops girth hitched around the rail. I use a N/S with my helium’s and just hook onto the bottom steps. I also don’t use a biner on swaider I use a hook off of a ratchet strap as it’s rubber coated and open...

    Dump pouches

I use molle canteen pouches from the army surplus. Digital camo with pocket big enough for lineman’s and tether . Also two small pockets on each side of it for extra biners. Cost $4.99 each.

    Stick attachment change!!

All my helium’s have the rope mod done and never had a problem until last night. Climbing down some of the bark from the white oak I was in slid from under the rope . The rope rolled down and loosened its grip, stick slipped about 6” before catching. I nearly chit myself. It may never happen...

    knaider/swaider with climbing sticks

Seriously just got through watching a G2 video on this a few minutes ago. Can definitely see gaining some distance between sticks.

How to get down after losing climbing stick?

Paracord loops on your saddle to carry sticks up. Keep 20-25’ of 5-8mm rope in your pack for bail out maneuvers . I can always go back up and retrieve my sticks, getting me to the ground is what’s important.
