    Rock climbing harness for hunters

some 20 years ago, I used an adapted rock-climbing type harness to secure myself using my LW treestands. was made for treestand hunting by now out of business company; 20'-Feet-UP. Still have the same harness, although just use my saddle now if up in my fixed stands.

    Trophyline EDP Platform

I run-n-gun out west here. Used many treestand systems over past 25 years. The saddle/1-stick system is best for my on-the-go hunting style. Had original Predator past couple years, worked well. Friend has the Mission, which I tried but too heavy, big for my hunting style. However, I was...

    Suggestions to cut weight...?

Thanks, will look into the Dynaglide hoist/pull down cord, and the Amsteel daisy chain gear hangar. Have alternative lineman's belt, LW model from back when. No carabiners just prussics. Love using the Safeguard, so will keep.

    Suggestions to cut weight...?

Modifying my system for less weight, run-n-gun (bow), as I hunt western & NW states. While I mostly spot-n-stalk, will occasionally pattern deer/elk and post up in a good tree when necessary. Often hiking up to 3 miles from vehicle/camp, gaining elevation, mountain trails & ridgelines, so not...

    Lone Wolf Hand Climber cracked

FYI the seat metal bars/cross bars of the LWHC are not of the same thickness/measurements as the LWHC regular foot base metal bars. this would lend me to think the seat of the climber, used as a saddle base, is not as strong as the regular foot base.
