20 extra inches while 1 sticking

Nah, just in my annual super lull. Post season ,no field work happening right now, lots of Home Office work. So, I have free time. I've never been of much of a sleeper though. 4 or 5 hours a night For as long as I can remember.
You and I have the same issues...I average 3-5 hours....it's great for being punctual but man....I wish I could sleep more.....

Sorry to get off topic. Do you use security boxes for the trail cams and secure them? or are you using the strap loops on the cam to run the cable through?

I would be interested in how you do this too if you ever have the time to start a thread on it.

You have a video of you climbing with this mod? And every game changer mod needs a name after it. hehehe
Not yet. Been to cold and wet here. As soon as it dries up a bit, I will shoot one though.
I agree, every original thought mod should have a name. This is not an original thought though. Just re purposing someone elses aider!

No lock box. I have a pretty elaborate set up on really cheap Tasco cameras.
1. I drill, screw in and seal up stainless eye bolts to each side of the camera and run the wire through those and the strap holes. So, if anyone does wnt it, they have to pretty much destroy it.
2. I hang them high enough that someone will have to work really hard to get to them
3. I drill, place and seal antennas onto the top of each camera! Makes them look like cell cameras, which tend to get left alone more. Heres the antennas I buy:

Im always trying to figure out a away to lessen the number of times I move my stick when 1 sticking. I watched a video of the LWCG fellas and their wire aider, and figured if I put that on top, I could use it as a handle to pull my stick up. Work great, and is slides down into the stick when im not using it. Allows me to use the full length of the stick to climb, instead of having to only use the bottom step due to the inability to reach the stick to move it. This can be applied to any stick I think.

Going to swap it out for a coated wire, but this is what it looks like:

How long of a cable did you use so that it stays straight up buy you can still grab it?

Yes, this wire aider pullup technique needs a video showing it in action. Otherwise the method doesn't really exist...

I still can't really picture in my mind how this works...
