I didn't realize how nice kayaks could be until I seen his Hobie. I'm used to seeing them at Walmart. Lol all kayaks are not the same. Lol

Yeah i know right?? Im still in a toss up between a Hobie and a Nucanoe!! I like the pedal drive on the hobie but Nucanoe is actually releasing their version in September or October.

I'd like to throw my hat in the ring. GW, SD and on the verge of ordering a Kestrel. Feel free to throw me on a team with little or no chance of winning. I don't want to bring anyone down. And if I kill a deer, all the better.

This will be fun! My first year ever using a saddle. I got the sitdrag dialed in and shooting comfortable out of it at hunting height. Now I have the new kestrel coming! Hoping I get it in and some practice in it before my September 9 opening day. I'm going to commit to only using a saddle this season. I do love the feeling of swing around in the tree, should have done this a long time ago!

This should be a good contest with all this new blood jumping in. Just remember guys its all fun and for bragging rights lol!!!! Glad to see all these new faces.
Glad to hear it. Bragging rights is all I can afford after rigging everything up the way I like! After getting skunked last year and not taking the spike when I had the chance, if I down one this year, I will feel accomplished just at that!

Win or lose, bag a deer or not just getting out in the woods is a win. Passing deer is not something to beat yourself down with. Learning how to pass on young deer is what leads to bigger ones for future outings. Btw i have not won one of these so we are in the same boat and bragging rights would be cool but im a saddle hunter so i can always brag about that :grinning:
