Awesome! Here it is! Team 9 is on the board. This is the first buck with a trad bow and 1st buck with a saddle. The sitdrag was awesome and I needed the mobility to pivot around and get him. Story to co.e later. Just got him to the house. Time to get to work!
Dave if you email the photo I can post it. saddlehunter.com@gmail.comThanks - and thanks for posting pic for me.
I had Abe Pinner from Caribou Bows make this for me. Black & white Ebony with M. Ebony is riser. Burl walnut crotch limbs and antler inlays as well as a drawing inlay. I got a matching longbow/recurve made this spring. So far one arrow one kill - never released an arrow last year as I was hunting a couple specific bucks that I never saw but once - that and I found one dead.
Year before four arrows four kills - I am hoping this trend continues I did let a 2 1/2 year old nice eight point (100") walk right under my stand Saturday morning - holding out for his GrandPa

yeah I probably handicap team 3 being so dang picky - just hard for me to pull the string on a younger buck these days - an the part of TX public land I hunt just don't have many 3 1/2+ year old bucks
