On a company trip with one of our suppliers this weekend. Had to pull an @Erniepower in case I’m able to upgrade my buck it has to be from the saddle. I left my knee pads in the truck.

Pretty good morning here. 20 degrees, calm and crunchy. Seen 11 baldies and a bald eagle so far.

Running late from a Christmas party so doing an observation sit for the last day tomorrow. Mostly just relaxing in a tree.

Second time on this property. First was last weekend for antlerless/gun. There is a ton of big buck sign back here. Beds, rubs and active scrapes. Hoping he’s still alive, hasn’t bedded closer to food and he wants to play. Beautiful afternoon either way.

Not exactly what I was hoping to see. (Bad pic, man in center frame). Sounded like two guys talking and then quiet for a bit. Then I hear what sounds like antlers clashing. Nope some guy climbing down with his summit. I had to walk past him on my way in. Would have been nice to know he was there. I would have keep moving on. He had to see me climb about 100 yds from him. He got down, walked half way to me, then his phone starts ringing. He answers, Hello, Hello, Hello. Continues to have a conversation 50 yds from me and turns and walked the opposite direction back where he came. Love the courtesy. Oh, and did I mention this is 25min before legal.
