1.5 hour east of Roanoke.. so like the appomattox/farmville area? Lynchburg? Fauquier is a bit of a ride from there if so, probably between 2.5 and 3 hours or the trip from Lynchburg to Charlottesville X2.
Yeah that's my whereabouts Everett. ~2 hours to Gainesville on a weekend trip.

I'm planning on asking the owners of the Farm Brewery at Broad Run. It's a little farm brewery off 66 in Haymarket. Excellent brew and plenty of space for our needs. I know the owners, they're good people and I'm fairly certain they'll be OK with it. We won't have the whole place to ourselves but I've got a spot in mind that's off to the side. I'm going to check with them this weekend.

Hard to do bud when I got a dairy to tend to. Id need to know a idea on distance and such. Would love to meet yall

Ah the life of a dairy farmer. I understand. I work for Virginia agriculture and have a couple friends with the dairy program. I hope to have a date nailed down by this weekend

Alright, we are all systems go for the brewery. I was thinking August 15th?
My plan was this:
I wanted this to be like an exhibition. Everyone's styles and gear are different. I thought it'd be cool for everyone to bring their kit-saddle, climbing system, platform, clothes, etc so we can expose folks to different gear. I'd like to set up on a pole or tree to demo different items and give people a chance to climb on a platform or two and mess around. Considering one can't exactly walk into cabelas and test on saddlehunting gear this is a good way to try stuff out. I also thought it'd be fun for folks to bring their bows and a couple bags and have a shootoff, I have a couple prizes to give away to the best and worst shot. We can hang out for awhile and then retire to the brewery for some adult cold snacks. How's that sound to everyone? Also, this will be good exposure for new members and invite other hunters too!
