It wasn't just me on the climber. My best friend and brother @BrowninG77 Had his part as well. But thanks for the compliment.
Pitch me some ideas in a PM. I don't have time to do everything personally but I am completely behind the idea and using our community and it's resources to support good causes. After a great discussion with a friend from the site, I hope @redsquirrel will seriously consider this one.
To quote my friend, "2020 as the Year of Inclusion. Doing things and making efforts to get more people hunting and thinking about hunting and its role in conservation. I am excited my middle daughter will be 12 this February and has expressed an interest in bowhunting!!! I cannot wait to go on some hunts with her and have her in one of my Bowhunter Ed. Classes."
I don't have demographic data on our membership, but I bet my guess would be fairly accurate. We truly are a niche group in a dying sport, and anything we do to boost hunting and add to the ranks helps saddles.
Do you guys have doe tags? It is easy to get them where i live and i practice on those to hone my killing skills. Last year was my worst season ever,so this year i was not going to pass shot opportunities on does and i was happy i didn't,my two archery does were all i had to show for at the end of the season.
Next year will be the same approach unless i think a buck may be trailing the doe,if it is close to the rut.
I’ve found that to be the case if you drop the doe in her tracks. I’ve had a couple 2.5 year olds trying to force a dead doe to her feet.I have on 3 occasions, and I know of many, many, many others, shot a doe that was being trailed by bucks, and had an opportunity to shoot the buck too.
Unless you live in a one deer a day state, shoot the doe. If a buck is trailing her, you’ll likely get a shot at him in the same spot, or very close to it. If she dies close to you(in sight) all the better. Free decoy.
Yes, yes, yes, yes and yes, yes, yes to this!!!! Also want to see pressure hunting!!!!!@flinginairos I would love to see your process of hunting bucks in the App. Range from start to finish. How do you spring/summer scout, in season scout, locate bucks, approach stands, deal with wind issues in the mountain, etc etc. I want to see more eastern/ App. Mt. content!
The year of trying to participate in discussions about gear without people complaining about my status as a rep...I am not a rep ;-)
I'm a 62 year old hunter with 50 seasons of experiences that I like to share. Some of my input is based on woodsmanship and some is based on gear. Read my stuff...I'm the kind of guy that likes to share info and be helpful. Then what are you?

Its funny, I can comment on ozone units, clothing bows, broadheads, arrows, even hand drills (made by a specific manufacturer) and nobody complains. But as soon as I have input on one particular product (made by that same specific manufacturer) that might possibly infringe on the "domain" of an existing product, people get their knickers twisted.

Glutes are good for many things, and they tend to disappear as we age. I guess all muscles do if we dont use them. What's a clothing bow?
Also for 2020...apparently I need to do some squats to build up my saddle holder. If I had a nickel for each time I had to pull it up and tighten the waist belt, I'd buy some beast sticks

Those are fair points, but you really should look at my posting history in its entirety.I don’t think that’s it.
You seem to have insider knowledge of all things Treehopper and test their products. You have them in your hands before anyone else. There is some kind of affiliation between you and treehopper. I don’t understand why the cryptic behavior on this site. It seems every manufacture has people to promote their products but as soon as anything Tethrd is mentioned it’s either deleted or shut down. I don’t want to get into a pissing match with anyone it’s just perplexing. If you can post all things Treehopper then people like @ablair and @flinginairos should be able to post all things Tethrd.
Just sayin....
2020 - The year people finally quit asking if the Hawk seat will make a good platform...
Hey, a man can dream, right?
Haha, and I mean this in a completely light intent...If a discussion on the Hawk takes place in the products section, I can't participate...must mean I'm in bed with whomever the heck makes those. LolAlright, enough arguing. Can we get back on topic before this thread gets locked, please?
Will the Hawk seat work or not?
