2023 Mushroom board

Show off them Mushrooms! I saw a few small ones coming up in the yard. Assume it's probably in full swing or almost done in the south.

Struck out on morels so far. Not enough rain during the critical warm up period I think. I did try pheasant's back yesterday picked about a dozen smaller ones. I always heard they were not good to eat but I found them to be quite excellent.

I know nothing about mushrooms but have quite a few coming up around the 2ish year old poplar stump grindings/dirt pile in my yard. Not the best pic because of the rain

We have a few branches that fell off our tree maybe 4 years ago. We get golden oyster mushrooms on them 6-8 times a year!

Don't give up just yet. I was thinking that it was going to be a bad year and I went out today for one last try. It was my best day ever.

We certainly had some moisture roll in lately. Weird spring for sure. I have to bust nuts all week, but hoping a few pop and I can get them next weekend.

Kidding aside we have a tone of different edible mushrooms .shantrells and checken of the woods most common in bulk , truffels its just rediculous.its not my thing but all my family Respect our frage in detail.i just Respect creation as an art and take some picks on my phone.
