Here's what you do. You get your wife one of those spa days where she goes in, and they pamper her. It banks up major brownie points for you and allows you time to run out and check cameras. It's a win-win!

She ain’t the pampering type. I’d be better off telling her there is a sale at Costco. That usually buys me at least 2 hours but costs be about $400 on “deals” :tearsofjoy:

Will she let you hang turkey fans? tis the season. Tell her you need to go look for "decorations" for the kitchen remodel. technically your not lying its just a 2 step process.
 
the word deer will never be spoken and you can leave your saddle gear at home. that will buy you a little time. n maybe check those cams whilst yelpin at ol tommy boy

It's my experience that the kitchen finish only leads to an increased pressure to complete the remodel of the baths . . .

Get a " get out of jail (almost) free card. And hire it done. I'm loving life now. Life's too short to miss out on church. :)
 
Upstairs is close to finished and kitchen cabinets are ordered! Install is set for the first week of September then it’s a mad dash to get the bathroom done. We have two bathrooms though so may let that remodel ride a little into my last hunting season. It’s gonna be close but I should be ready come opening day. Lol

Yea and we do rut sporadic and late from mid November in some places to mid December to late January in others. Im a weekend only hunter so my season starts October 1st and ends February 10th. I killed one early January and one Feb 10th last year. Hit two good-uns in between that but I don’t really want to talk about them… I plan to be pretty prejudiced toward the does this year early season. I always try to be good for 10 points or more.
 
I really like the competition myself, last year I killed a decent 9 pointer at the end of season and actually killed 3 does which means I tagged out. Looking forward to being in it again this year.!! Great site and even better people, God Bless!!!
