I aint even west though Tulsa is more hardwood river bottoms than anything.


He is a great deer though. I almost killed him two years ago but botched the shot and gave him an armpit shave. I'd bet he's maybe 140's class

Here is his progression through the years from 3-5 years old

his 3.5 year old photo got him the name angry eyebrows

I don't know. It's so hard to gauge deer in velvet. Also the region you are from can make body size mess with perception as well.

Velvet bucks always seem bigger than they are. But they are all shooters in my woods.

I can always use new friends lol! I passed the crazy horned buck last year along with several others but may have to shoot if he gives me the chance this year! All these bucks have been on my camera for the past three seasons!

Some beautiful deer guys.

I'm getting lucky with some of these shots. I was in there today with plans to prep a couple trees. I left only checking cams cause of all of the mid day pics. They are working the edges hard.

The biggest is out of velvet. I get a pic maybe every week or so. Always alone.
