2024 Gear thread

Yeah you hit the nail on the head. That is a sweet feature especially for hybrid saddle hunting.

Don't like it. Cables supporting the middle does little to support the sides or front outer corners in the conventional way in terms of flex. No thanks. I'll contend with my cables.

Impressive weight wise, price and form factor. Hopefully they soften those edges of both sticks and platform by production. Definitely missed the boat there. Wish they had carried over more of the Onyx profile to the new platform. Amount of material/cost may be the reason why they didnt.

Agree attachment point looks a bit too high may cause kickout with stick under less than ideal tension.

It’s too small and stout too worry about that imo.

Flip it for them big ol' trees

Exactly only need to machine/provide you one bracket now as opposed to two. Which I never understood anyway. Design it right you don't need two.

Similar to the LWCG Doubles in that respect I thought. May bite better though, because of the standoff design. Also 3.5”ish standoff distance.

Obviously these have pros of lighter weight, inline stacking, rope system, etc.
That was the first thing I thought, looks like a different take on the LWCG doubles. I like them, may sell my doubles and get those. The platform also looks a lot like the Fix and at minimum they look to have solved the crappy folding issues of their past platforms.

I rather thought the edges looked nicely rounded over

Definitely some LWCG inspiration with Trophyline touches.

Wonder how well these hyperlite sticks would mate on a .5 post? I’ve 4 LWCG 14” doubles I haven’t used…and now may never use, lol.

Also wondering, when they’re gonna reveal their micro Magnite treestand and XL platforms?

For the others that are fairly minimalistic like myself.
This is probably the product I have seen here that I’ve been most interested in and it’s only $80, haha. He said they’re upgrading the backpack straps before it’s released.

Platform pack, stick holder, and doubles as a knee pad.

Nope, nope, not even going to look at the treestand. Broke just eyeing the stix.

is novix in stores? I see it's not extra popular but I'm considering a hybrid set up and that goofy one might fit the bill. Probably going to have to test the new TL too, I know there's stores with load bearing poles to try that at but at only .5 pounds lighter than my x- wing it's a hard sell
