This is a no win situation for a vendor. I have no idea what product testing they did prior to release but, if you come out with a product and your consumers give you several ideas on how to make it better you have two choices.
Make the changes and have people slam you for letting consumers do your testing or, don't make the changes and have people slam you for not listening to your consumers.
Now, if the changes are safety related shame on them but, if the changes are to make it more functional based on customer feedback good for them.
They sort of seem to be figuring this one out as they go a bit.
They should probably offer a free or at least discounted rope upgrade to the few who bought them originally. looks like that’s the only change.
The original rope system didn’t really seem very functional. I do wonder how the hitches will do on the new coated rope.
