2024 Mobile Hunters Expo

I'll be there tomorrow. Looking at the floor plan the show is a lot smaller than I was imagining. Guess I'm just used to the Great American Outdoor Show lol.

$20 to get in.... small show, but did pick up a few things for SRT, and met JRB who gave me a lot of info and help...also tied my JRB Garda Hitch Footloop for me....Thanks @JRB

Kicker was when I left, no signs anywhere on way in, I was stopped coming out the drive where they had it coned off on the exit...$10 parking. SOB

That was pretty shady IMO...not telling you until you go the leave.

Show was definitely small. Glad I didn't buy a multi day pass. I picked up a few things too and also met JRB, nice guy. Saw Beau Martonik and Nate Sellers (Average Jack Archery) there too but didn't talk to them.

Overall it was a nice way to spend about 2-3 hours. The atmosphere was good and lots of fake trees to try out saddles on. I tried the Arsenal Cloud Relax - very comfy but you can't adjust the bridge length, which seems like a big oversight to me. Buzzard Roost 2 panel was also nice.

Arsenal had a prototype one stick. It was just a prototype but I wasn't impressed. It was basically a small RZR style platform on top and a smaller one on the bottom. Didn't fold or anything cool like the actual RZR platform. Perhaps it will change before coming to market.

I did see the $10 parking signs on the way in and I'm familiar with that being their normal policy at that venue, so it's unrelated to the show. If you really want to skip the $10 for the parking there is a public lot just down the road at a rail trail, trailhead. It's a walk, but it's not far. I paid the $10 just in case I walked out with a lot of loot that I didn't want to carry. I got out the door under $200 counting admission and parking, so I call that a win at a hunting show. lol

I went up today also and spent a few hours there. Got to try out and see most of the new stuff out. I didn't buy anything, mostly looking for saddle for my buddy.

The 2 thing i was most interesting in was the Trophyline hyperlite sticks and the Latitude maverick saddle. I was very impressed with the maverick and will probably be buying one. The hyperlite sticks were not what I was hoping for and will pass on them.

That’s Spooky Nook for you. Cool sports complex but they get every $ out of you they can no matter what.
