@woodsdog2 & I discussed the alternate build for Tac to no end last year. I finally settled on getting another dozen match grade eastons & setting them up the same as my hunting arrow. Just praying I wouldn’t lose too many. My thought was this I practiced a lot leading up to the shoot & didn’t want to resight my bow just trying to shoot flatter & save a buck. I shot a 110yd elk target with a heavy arrow & only lost 2 all day.Looked it up after @Bigterp mentioned it. Would be good for me to do it. Will I loose arrows? I would hate to loose my FOC builds. Would it be worth getting a dozen off the shelf ones to use?View attachment 98760

Give them ole’ Gobblers a break @Micneador and shoot a foam one or three instead!I've got a buddy going to beavers bend, I just can't bring myself to burn a weekend during turkey season.
There's some folks doing oklahoma specific TAC style events. Their tulsa event doesn't line up for me of course.
If the turkey population around broken bow is now what it was in the early 2000's I'd totally take a week off before the shoot and try to hammer an oklahoma eastern like I used to do every year.Give them ole’ Gobblers a break @Micneador and shoot a foam one or three instead!
