adjustable bridge tender

I don't wanna hijack this thread but is that knot ^^^ a Prussik?
It has three wraps on top and two on the bottom...

Almost... a true prusik should be symmetrical. Looks like your short a wrap on the top side. Which will shorten up your lead into the bridge which I think is good.

thanks guys! that pic is exactly what i was looking for. I will give it a try

Well, I had a chance to hangout in my saddle today for a while...
After having my weight (160lbs) in the bridge the Amsteel hitch was too tight to break with the tender. I had to stand up and loosen it to get it to slide.
So, my first experience and impression with Amsteel as a hitch is not very good .
Maybe Amsteel on Amsteel works better?

You don't have to adjust your bridge much at all. Most people do it to get it tight to walk, maybe once at base of tree to climb, initially to hang, and maybe a few times to try to get comfortable over a several hour sit. I don't see how doing it one handed is much use besides just a neat extra feature. I have an adjustable Oplux/TRC bridge and am considering going to fixed bridge because I don't walk in with it on.

raisin, I just got all my components in a tree for the first time. So I was adjusting everything up and down to try and find a 'happy place'... (I didn't)
I need to start my own thread about being short and not having hardly any adjustment unless I cinch my tether above my head. Even with my bridge kinda short, once you add up all of the lengths for hitches and carabiners I'm damn near laying flat... lol

I used a amsteel bridge last season. Did not like the way it bunched up, always looked loose. I'm using 8mm rescue tech/trc. Removable and adjustable, it works for me to one stick/repelling. Removable because I don't like jumping through it. Great info on this site for safety bring number one rule.
