Searched this and other forums and didn't come up with much on aerial archery so I thought I'd try to start discussion about it.
The rapidly moving target idea intrigues me and I finally found a flu-flu design that's worth a dern (spiral wrap) so I'm making a couple targets up and we'll give it a go. Constructed a couple disc targets this morning by taping some 1" thick foam and some cardboard together.
Having a hard time finding info on how one "tunes" a flu-flu. Made my flus from 500s and fling them from a 40lb ILF bow when stump shooting or playing arrow golf in the yard. Decided to go with lower poundage for this aerial endeavor so I put together an old Sage I had laying around with 35lb limbs (probably less at my 27" draw). Wondering if I should get some 600s just for this or stick with the current 500s.
I'd love to hear if any of yall ever ventured into the aerial target world and how it went.
