Aerohunter Eye and Eye Prusik vs Ropeman

Would something like this work or would the carabiner cause issues with the prusik?

It looks like it might work. It's not load bearing it just pushes prusik along. Also depends I guess on how big they are obviously need to be able to go around your prusik on one side but the 10 or 11mm LB on the other.

These are big enough for 1/2" rope, no problem. Not sure on length though if it will work - these are 4.7" total in length.

I don't have my saddle with me but my prusik tender is probably close to that. Its literally some accessory cord and a D ring. The style you show there is nice because it keeps things neat.
 
I think two posts back I said it had to fit your prusik through the one side. That was wrong, and typed before my more morning coffee. One end goes around the carabiner not the prusik. So noise from metal on metal may be an issue. Sorry for the error.
