Foot in.

A paracord aider is unwise & might be why your having struggles with positioning & compressionParacord one step moveable. Thanks
You can climb the low side of the tree if it’s leaning but that presents a new set of challenges. I’d seriously consider making an aider out something besides paracord…….I’d never even fathom standing on it after the first move of the stick. Do you have a piece of hose or something on it for a step? If not, id start there. I’m faced with the same issues when I’m on the high side of the tree. I use my toe and push it out to the side to help get my foot in there, then bring it back to the tree and step as straight up as possible. How can I keep my aider from being so close to the tree?
