Alone [don’t read this thread if you don’t want a spoiler]

Don't apologize, this: "don't read thread if you don't want a spoiler" is literally in the thread title. I knew the chance I was taking when I clicked on it.

My 12 yr old will be happy when we watch it tonight, he wanted Clay to win.
Ha, I edited-in that 2nd part of the thread title shortly after I started the thread.
And I had to resist ignoring my own instructions. We never watch it on Thursday, we DVR it and watch it on Friday. When I saw the bump in activity on this thead today, I was so tempted to read some posts but I resisted.
We are so happy Clay won, well deserved!
Fellow PBS member...go Clay!

Clay seems like a good dude and was kind enough to answer a few questions of mine about trad bows… I was surprised to get a response because I honestly figured he was most likely overwhelmed with everything. Super pumped to see him win! Well deserved!

I was excited for Clay. It was awesome to see such a “real” guy win. He built that bow, when deer hunting, killed a deer, processed and preserved it, and on and on. His skills won him that contest. Not fat reserves just pure skills and gritty toughness. His return home video on his channel is good to. Congrats Clay!

Been waiting since friday to watch the last episode. Watch it on the history app so have to wait till friday. Did everything I could do not to spoil it. Didn't watch Clay's video's or Google the results but then the history channel's YouTube channel popped up yesterday Clay goes the distance. Just watched the episode and all Clay's video's tonight. Way to go man.

Season 9 started last night. It's on our DVR. Can't wait to watch it but it won't be the same without someone like Clay to root for.
I felt the same way but then I realized his buddy Benji, whom he’s hunted with in ID is a contestant now so I’m kinda rooting for him. He was just on a 7 or 10 day mountain bear hunt this past spring with Clay and his son.

Alot more survivalists, guides and wilderness living folks this time. Plus more big predator challenges. They have shifted the emphasis. Looks like no more "average Joes".

Still good. Hey for 5 bucks Clay's book is a good read as well.
