He has a prusik on both sides instead of one. Notice how he loops the prusik through the metal ring.

The SH Membership has gone live. Only SH Members have access to post in the classifieds. All members can view the classifieds. Starting in 2020 only SH Members will be admitted to the annual hunting contest. Current members will need to follow these steps to upgrade: 1. Click on your username 2. Click on Account upgrades 3. Probably could, I think thats what Paul does. It woud be nice if it was adjustable so you could tighten for different sized trees. Maybe something with a cam jam?
A low tech option is to use a small screw link to hold the two sides of the lanyard together.
