Why not just tilt your platform?
1/4" bolt cut to length. I tried it on a tree this afternoon. It makes it very comfortable to leanHow did you attach the bar?
I'm all ears, but I have no idea what you mean. Can you elaborate?I would add a stuff sack (soft ramp, foam ramp) instead. that bar wouldn’t give me the support I need underfoot.
It's hard to stand up straight on a tilted platform. The Ambush is large enough to use as a traditional stand and that's what I like about it.Why not just tilt your platform?

Fake newsIt's hard to stand up straight on a tilted platform.
You put the strap around the platform post? I have some Ameristeps on an OCBI just put a squirrel step on either side using a cam buckle, it does 2 things, I can lean back and kick my feet out and also makes the platform more steady on side pressure
Checkout soft platforms. @Weldabeast and a few others made them.
Same basic concept, but a lot more material possibilities and sizing options as you’re adding the ramp atop a rigid platform.
In your design I think the bar would work better if it was lower, at least for me.
