Yes. You may be right. I tried the 3/16" Amsteel in my Madrock Safeguard and it would not hold. I could hold my weight with a figure eight wrapped around three times. I have no desire to try to rappel on Amsteel. I am afraid. It is time for me to punt.

I have to build a one pound platform next.
