Any aftermarket rope attachments like the Skeletors?

I like that hitch they use in those new sticks. But ultimately they look like my hawk sticks. So have a hard time buying some. But I do like that rope system and tie off. Does anyone make one I can put on a flat stick?

no

You're not the only one interested, and big T knows it.

There are some interesting marine cleats out there, and there were even some diy cleat designs and discussion on the forum. Maybe that'll inspire something that will work for ya.

Not the same but this works great on sticks with no cleat at all, just insert through existing versa button hole, etc.

Are your Hawk sticks the old sticks with the cam strap attachment that was a flat bracket or the new ones with the button? If they are the old style you already have what you need. I've been doing this for years.

Haven’t done it yet but was thinking to get a square or rectangular cabinet door knob, drill it through so I can put a grade 8 bolt through it and then dremel out the slots to pinch the rope. Probably totally unsafe but worth a try at ground level…..

Is there a reason nobody uses dock cleats? It's essentially the same principal....or just use the 'ol rope mod like some of us do/did on the versa buttons?

Dock cleats might take away stackability. But the prussic might not be a bad idea. I have the whoopise slings. But they are a lot of screwing around.

I know this isn’t exactly what your looking for but I’ve been running this tapped and threaded aluminum ball on my stick for 2 seasons now and a daisy chain and it works great. Easy on and easy off, holds great and never had an issue. Best $5 I’ve spent on mods.

Midwest, what material did you use? Does it come out smooth enough that the carbon fiber doesn't chew into the rope? Thanks

The material is called Onyx. The surface finish is very smooth but I haven't used them enough to see if there may be any long term use damage. I don't anticipate any wear issues.
