Anyone mess around with 3d printing?

I know people do that, just weirds me out. Probably the fact I work in quality and deal with risk analysis daily makes me think that way :tearsofjoy:

I'm using this website to create the STL. I find the property lines on ONX then find it with the gps coordinates on the site. The layer lines create a topo line effect as well which I think is cool. I just used a blue sharpie to show water, I need to pick up a fine tip blue today to do a better job with water. For reference, the one above is the Kinzua Reservoir area from the NY line down. Lighter color filament shows better, black is difficult to see the terrain.

I printed your prusik tender design the other day. I'm replacing my ropeman on my tether with it. It works great and eliminates the metal to metal noise potential. Thanks for throwing it on thingiverse. I printed it in Matter Hackers PETG Pro with a 1.0 nozzle (to minimize layers) and 100% infill. Thing is unbreakable. I can't believe I didn't do this before buying a second ropeman.
