Raisins, that is wonderful news for you!
I purchased with Mastercard and they told me the same thing, because it was past the deadline/too many pay periods had occurred, I likely would not be eligible for a refund. Even after talking to them at length so they could take down all the details, even directing them to reviews like on their own Facebook page, Mastercard still came back and ruled against me.
As an update, I have received the following communications from the BBB and the Alabama AG:

This office has received no communication pertaining to your complaint against the above-referenced company or individual. Because the individual/company has obviously indicated an unwillingness to cooperate with this office in its role as a mediator, the Attorney General does not have authority to pursue the matter further. It is suggested that you may want to consult an attorney or consider filing a complaint in Small Claims Court.
I am sorry that due to the nature of this matter we cannot be of further assistance.
Sincerely,
Sherri E. Richardson

I am not sure what, if anything, I will do at this point.
I might try reaching back out to the credit card company, and see if there is an appeal process.
I am just beyond words tbh, I have a hard time understanding how Josh and his wife are not feeling a sense of obligation and ethical duty to return our money to us.
I am also taken aback that the Attorney General does not have the authority to pursue the matter further. I have no way to know how much money Flat Branch has, at this point, essentially stollen from people, but it must be in the low 6-figures.
