Anyone regret moving to larger platform?

I wear a size 14W and started on the mission. I still have it as a back up. I moved to the Cruzr Seeker and love it. I never use the mission and can shoot from all positions with no issues.

Also keep in mind you can always use your last/top stick and make it even with your platform. This gives you that additional space to stepmom that you fear you maybe losing out on.

I bought the mission for my first platform and really liked it, but it is just so big. I got the edp last week and based off of one 45 minute sit the mission is going bye bye. The packability of the EDP is a ton better than the mission with nearly the same amount of usable space.

I use an Ambush. TMK it's the largest platform made. Not problems here. I hunt BIG trees so spinning around for the weak side shot is made very easy on a large platform.

I was a preorder to the OG Predator and hunted it till this year. Bought a mission put back pack straps on it and will only use the predator as a back up. The mission is better for me, the extra size is worth the little extra weight.

Bought the Misson and the EDP at the same time. Was going to sell one, keep one and fully expected I’d keep the mission. After a few days of using both I sold the mission. I personally feel l don’t need the extra space. Weight isn’t a factor since it’s only around a pound. Packability is nice with the EDP. If you think about. It’s about two inches extra of get around the tree with the Mission. Not sure that would make a difference.

What boot size do you wear? I am a 12 and am looking at the EDP. I’m coming from a Monarch with a ROS and hoping to ditch the ROS

Tried a predator platform and went back to my ring of steps.if I need steps to get around the tree I don't know what the platform is even for.just something extra to carry.

I carry the saddle and platform so I can stay on the forum

Ambush: 16.5" x 14.5"
Mission: 17.9" x 13.8"
Ridge Runner XL: 15" x 14"
Assasin: 18" x 14"
Predator XL: 16.25" x 13"

I have the Ambush and rrXL. To me the XL feels even roomier for maneuvering for the week side, due to no post. I like them both.

Not a consistent answer here! Kind of personal preference.

I have small and large and use them both. Planned on selling one, but seems as though they each have their place in the tool box, so I keep both. Like and appreciate the trade offs they each bring to the table.
