Arrow Build Questions?

I am in the process of setting up my new bow (70# Solution, 29" draw) and have 2 dozen unfletched arrows (Victory RIP TKO .300s) to build out as well. I downloaded the qSpine app on my phone and need some insight before I take them to the shop to have them built. I've never really used the app so not sure if I'm doing it correctly or what I should be taking away from it.

My goal is higher FOC and a "heavier" arrow without going crazy. Below are some photos of the setup in the app and what I came up with.

Does this makes sense? Is this arrow good to go, or should I modify? Ideally I'd like to go to 125gr heads but the app showed it underspined in that scenario.

Do your arrows have inserts installed already? If so I would buy some 125 grain field tips and attempt to bare shaft tune them. That will give you a much better idea of what is going on spine-wise than an app ever will. If your arrows aren't cut down already I would cut a few of them and shoot them before cutting all of them. That way if you need to change arrows you've got a bigger resell market for your arrows.

try 125 then... bareshaft it. if it flies good who cares what the app says. I dont think 200 gr upfront is going to push you over the top for 300 spine. getting a 125 gr field point is easy and cheap.

I think the app will give you a good place to start but nothing can replace paper tuning bare shafts. When I built my arrows I was dead set on 575 grains but my bow had other plans and achieved perfect arrow flight at 620 grains. Let your bow tell you what arrows it wants rather than forcing the bow to shoot arrows you want.

Also, make sure you index your shafts to shoot on the stiffest side or spine of the carbon shaft for consistency. Rotate your nocks a quarter turn to bare-shaft tune them to small holes through paper, then make fine adjustments with your arrow rest or nock point to get your bare shafts shooting bullet holes. You be so surprised how much this does to improve horizontal tears. This is a very important first step.

I noticed 2nd page of app shows 6.37 gr./lb - Never heard of that measure ? my Day 6 350 spline shafts are 10.2 gr. / inch
