Arsenal Platform

Applying any pressure to those tabs you can see the plastic deform. Sort of surprising too because looking closely they appear to be machined and not molded(?!) which to me says these are not the parts they intended to use.

They probably chose plastic so there wouldn't be metal-metal contact there.

I reached out on Facebook and referenced my order number and they got right back to me and have them in the mail with a tracking number. I was impressed.
Hmmm I didn’t get a tracking number yet
Update: emailed them and got the FedEx tracking.

Did you tell them they were damaged or did you just request the metal replacements?
Mine were not damaged but I requested them so I didn’t have to deal with that during the season and they didn’t ask questions.

Super easy to swap. They’re unfinished aluminum. I swapped anyway but I’ll probably paint or cerakote them. I used a silicone Teflon grease on the spring and a DuPont ceramic dry lube on the replacement buttons, blue loctite on the screws.

I messaged support too, around 1:30pm today. Thus far, crickets.

Hadn't received a response from support to my Wednesday inquiry, so I sent a follow up email today at 1:20PM. They responded at 2:30PM with tracking and shipped it this evening. May be a fluke, but contact@huntarsenal.com worked out better than the support function on the website.

That’s awesome. For future purposes, check out vibratite instead of the blue or red.

Did the swap. Took all of 2 minutes. Kind of pumped about this platform. Could have a better bracket but overall I like it. We will see what I think come late November lol

Agreed. This is supposed to be the best stuff, according to the big time precision rifle crowd.

After I fell and lost zero, costing me a great buck, I did all that reading and completely changed my scope setup. I used this on a murphy precision scope base that I bedded to my rifle, and on Seekins and Spur ring sets. I've banged my rifle around a bit but everything has been rock solid.

Alright I ordered a little tube of it, I’ll have to mess around with it one of these days.

How is everyone liking their Arsenal platforms? I haven’t been able to hunt as much as other years but in my 4 sits so far I’ve really liked it. Haven’t found a negative other than it could be a little bigger but then again I could have bought the bigger version and didn’t. The 2 teeth on the stand-off I thought would be more of an issue but so far hasn’t presented a problem on the trees I’ve hunted out of.

I am currently one sticking with a tethrd one stick and setting up the Arsenal platform at height. I’ve liked my setup this year more than my wingman one stick I used last year. The packability is better, weight is better, and it’s nice to be able to have adjustment in my platform which I did not have with the wingman.

I like it a lot. Barely notice it hanging on my saddle, in fact one time I climbed and decided not to set it/just stand on my stick I checked 3 different times to make sure it hadn’t fallen off.
I’ve had a few squeaks(groans?) when camming it down but nothing after. Need to take it apart and get some grease in there though.

These platforms are badass. If I didn't one stick id use these all the time. I might just order the regular sized one just to have lol.

Every time I’ve been on mine the platform has shifted after being set or toe camming has induced a lot of post twist; I’ve been using a cam strap.

Want to love it, the machining is top notch and the fold flat feature is really nice. But I’m on the fence going forward.

It’s definitely not my favorite platform to use, but it is my favorite to pack.

Damn that's unfortunate.
