Arsenal Platform

trying really hard to not go ahead and pull trigger on the rzr 1.0 as i need a new platform and the ability for it to fold flat and go in my pack just sounds like an awesome combo with my latitude sticks...hopefully 2.0 ends up as good as it sounds.

Anyone else buy one and not get a receipt or acknowledgement of order or anything yet? Charged my card, I figured since it was the weekend it wasn’t weird not to get anything from the company, but I didn’t get anything today either. I understand it’s preorder, just figured I’d get something saying we took your money and you’ll get the platform when it ships.

Mine went to my junk email box

That 2” reduced width on the Magnum is pretty reasonable considering that’s the same width as XOP retrograde.

Did you get to look it over and try it out? Got any details?

Yes. I tried the regular one, plenty large for me. The main thing that stuck out to me was how flat and light it was when folded. I really like that it has an integrated hip/molle clip. I set it several times and by the third time it was quick and easy using their rope method. The rope cleat can be used as a versa button if you want to go with a cam strap instead. You can't really access the set screw for angle while on the platform, but that seems normal to me. I've seen other platforms where the set screw was more accessible but it isn't a deal breaker for me. Platform seemed very stable to me, including with side pressure.

what else do you want to know?

That's awesome! Thanks!

I think I'm pretty well sold on it. At this point I'm just waiting to hear from some bigger fellas or see some youtube reviews on how stable they feel on it.

I ordered one but I don’t think I will ever use it. I will be using the crossover most if not all the time. I am thinking about canceling my order. Buys remorse already….eeek!
Yeah I almost cancelled it today but decided to let it get here and check it out for myself. I just need to make some gear cleanout decisions after it gets here. I can convince myself 2 platforms is fine so I have a backup just in case but not 4, that’s the behavior of a hoarder or a psychopath.

I did talk to the owner of Hunt Arsenal yesterday and asked when are they coming out with a Treestand he said later this fall… I asked what size stand are they looking to make and he wasn’t sure and asked if I had a preference so I told him 16x24 size platform and he put it in his notes. So I guess we will see…

So in the video, the vendor rep(Ryan Voo) says 2.8lbs for the Magnum. Product literature says 2lbs 8oz. Hoping he misspoke.
Says it twice too. After he said it the first time I was hoping he’d correct it when he got asked again.

18x28 magnum would be great.

I ordered a mag 2.0. Will give it a try. Really wish they were made in the US. I like the looks of the updated version alot more than the original. Top tree bracket and rope lock looks like a big upgrade from the original. Hopefully it works out. Was hoping latitude was gonna launch a carbon fiber platform. Guess I will have to wait longer for that.
