Badlands 50%-Off Code!

1st outing with the pyre set. I like it and decided to keep them. They are warm. Not the quietest and contour like the incinarator for climbing but this will do. Wish they made a version like this in the Wasatch for late season by far my favorite piece.

Good to hear! Thanks for the update.

How cold out was it and what else did you have on?

Mid 20's wind chill in the teens and singles. Lower I had on the Ovis merino next to skin with Cabelas ECWS polar weight, ascend pant and the pyre. With the cabelas base I sacrifice articalation, mobility really sucked with them. Upper went with Ovis merino next to skin, Wasatch jacket, Ascend jacket and finally the Pyre. As for the face I just stuck with Badlands elavated face mask and beanie. I took off the jacket it was just to loud to shoot. I might get a vest instead for those dead calm days. Maybe get a sitka for sure or some fleece. I gotta say though the Ascend and Wasatch are dead quiet. As for the bibs they are noisy too but it something I have to learn with on the platform. I find my self not moving the lower much so that will be ok. Untill a big buck bust me in public land then i will know.

I got my pursuit pack in, could not be happier! It's super light and with the exterior straps I'm able to carry my perch underneath and WEI stepps strapped to the back. Next hunt I'll get to my tree, take my stepps off the pack and put my bow in their place so I can ditch my haul line.
I got the pursuit and the super day, not sure which one Iam gonna keep yet.

Wow thanks for the code, just bought the Superday, BinoXL, bow harness, gator and benie! Went from $480 to about $280 with tax and shipping. This was a great tip, thank you.

No problem! they do this sale about every year in the fall sometime. This year they ran it twice! I've saved over a $1000 this year alone!

Just used it again this morning for some base layer bottoms. Based on what they had left in stock got a Black Ovis top, wasn't sure about the Calor top. I got the Blacktail Jacket for casual everyday use, and its really nice. Especially at $45.

Anybody have any experience with the high unitas vest, or the the jacket? I'm considering the vest for additional insulation on the colder sits.

I have the vest. Love it. Warm, lightweight, and compresses very small to pack in and pull out when needed. I haven't really hunted without it this year. To me the size runs a little small compared to their other pieces, but for a mid layer, I'm ok with that. Good luck!

Ordered last Monday. Got my pack and gloves by friday. Got the timber pack, just enough room for my outer layers and kill kit.
