How much have you climbed with those? They look FING sweet but I would be a bit worried with all that drilling out that it would weaken the beam allowing it to crack with just the right enough of force.

I just got an email from beast gear that the beast sticks will be back in stock on Tuesday 10/8 at 6:00am central time

They for sale?

No sorry I’m keeping them! I have the LWCG sticks too and at the end of the season I may sell one of the 2. If these packed better I’d be completely in love. Lol

Is there any benefit to having the steps angled upward vs straight across? Noticed the top two sticks have the angled doublestep where as the bottom two do not.

I would say it’s just preference. I like the angles ones better but there’s not much difference. Dano has these made for the Saddelpalooza raffle that never happened. I was able to persuade him to sell them to me this summer. They are even etched w saddlehunter.com and logo on the side. Which I covered up w stealth strips but it’s pretty cool

The angled are the better ones to get. You get the straight ones on a crooked tree the step will be on an angle and you are more likely to slip off.

Bottom (angled) for climbing VS. top (straight) for standing?
