Curious. I’ll preface with I’m a trad guy. But if 20-30 is no big deal and you aren’t gonna go farther than that. Why do you need it? They are too far or in range right? Just trying to save you money. Dependency on gear kinda makes me wonder sometimes. Im not against range finders and if your intentions are to actually push your limits of range then you should probably have one. If you are gonna stick to the 20-30 no problem the I’d save the money and spend on something more worth while.my newbie eyeballs can't quite judge the difference between distances as it gets further away. 20-30 yards away is no big deal but 70 vs 90? gets harder to judge. i likely won't shoot past 30ish, so mainly use my rangefinder to figure out just how far out of range all the deer I see are.
Estimating is a valuable skill. IMO, you would not use a range finder to throw a baseball to your kid. The mind is an amazing instrument.
