I am trying to figure out the best way to carry my Lone Wolf climbing Sticks and Out on a Limb Platform. I will be walking ~ 1 mile in the woods with multiple hills. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I have the Exo frame pack that ways 2 lbs and 10 oz I believe. I have my platform in the beavertail (you can just see it in pic) and strap sticks with buckles. I have extra buckles to strap clothes for late season. This whole setup is under 12 lbs. I pack in deep just like you. Screenshot_20190719-071015_Gallery.jpg I love it!

My setup is about the same except mines an eberlestock. Or I use bolts and take just a pack

Thanks. I like the frame pack suggestion - looking to buy one now.

I have the same Exo K2 frame with the crib load panel . Works great for platform and sticks. I’ll throw a 2000 bag on late season for heavy clothing.

I cut mine down and added a 5 step aider to make up the height difference. Not only did it make them super packable it also dropped almost 5lbs from them.

I ran into issues last year hauling full length sticks around the woods. I used the LW carrier strap and that was OK but not a permanent solution.

I'm looking for something to carry a 12 pack of Wild Edge steps (using for my climbing method and platform) and either pack in or strap my extra layers for all day sits. Open to any suggestions, PMs too.

I'm firm believer in frame like posted above just stick bag with steps in center of frame

I went the short stick route too.....lighter and much easier to pack
Stick evolution......

I have no need for a frame pack because of my states regulations so i have to drag the animals out. I own a frame pack but i always end up using the lighter cheaper backpack. I just attach my platform to my bag with rubber twist tie and carry the short sticks in the bed roll position. The step aider lives in my cargo pocket
